Delete your account and all data

You can delete your account and wipe everything from our servers. This is permanent.

From inside the app

  1. Open LumaSpace.
  2. Go to Settings.
  3. Scroll down to Account.
  4. Tap Delete Account.
  5. Read the warning. Tap Delete Everything to confirm.

Settings -> Account is where you can permanently delete your account and data.

What gets deleted

  • Your anonymous profile (device info, country, language)
  • All favorites
  • View and download records
  • Custom wallpapers you imported stay in your own private iCloud (CloudKit), not on our servers — remove them from the app or iCloud yourself

What stays

  • Locally cached wallpapers on your Mac (delete the app to remove these)
  • Your App Store subscription (cancel separately in System Settings > Subscriptions)

We process deletion within 30 days. In practice it's usually instant.

Manual cleanup

If you also want to remove local data without the app:

  • Delete ~/Library/Application Support/LumaSpace/
  • Delete ~/Library/Caches/ LumaSpace folders
  • Run defaults delete com.maclovekit.lumaspace in Terminal
