Set up your first wallpaper
You installed LumaSpace. Now let's get something moving on your desktop.
- Open LumaSpace. You land on the Home tab with featured wallpapers.
- Scroll around. Tap any wallpaper that catches your eye.
- You'll see a preview playing. Like it? Click Apply.
- LumaSpace downloads it (takes a few seconds) and sets it as your desktop background.
- Close or minimize the LumaSpace window. Your wallpaper keeps playing.

What's the gold "Pro" badge?
Some wallpapers are Pro-only. They have a small gold badge. Free wallpapers have no badge and work without subscribing.
What about the menu bar?
Notice the small star icon in your menu bar (top-right of screen). That's your remote control. Click it to pause, resume, adjust volume, or switch wallpapers without opening the full app.
Auto-start
After your first wallpaper, LumaSpace automatically sets itself to start at login. Next time you restart your Mac, your wallpaper will be ready.
