How to uninstall LumaSpace

If you want to remove LumaSpace completely:

  1. Click the menu bar star icon > Quit (or right-click in Dock > Quit).
  2. Open Finder > Applications.
  3. Drag LumaSpace to the Trash.
  4. Empty the Trash.

Remove all leftover data

The app is gone, but some data might remain:

  • Cached wallpapers: Open Finder > Go > Go to Folder > type ~/Library/Caches/ > delete any LumaSpace folder.
  • Preferences: Open Terminal and run defaults delete com.maclovekit.lumaspace
  • Application Support: Go to Folder > ~/Library/Application Support/LumaSpace/ > delete it.

Cancel subscription first

Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription. Do that separately: System Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.

Delete server data too?

If you want your favorites, mood history, and profile removed from our servers, use Settings > Delete Account inside the app before uninstalling.
