Best practices

  • Format: MP4 or MOV work best.
  • Resolution: At least 1080p for clear results. 4K looks amazing on Retina displays.
  • Length: 10 to 60 seconds is ideal. The video loops seamlessly.
  • Orientation: Match your video to your screen — landscape for standard monitors, portrait for vertical setups.
  • Loop-friendly: Videos that start and end on a similar frame loop more smoothly, without a visible "jump."

Note: Custom wallpaper import requires a LumaSpace Pro subscription.
