Wallpaper doesn't fill my ultrawide monitor

By default, LumaSpace uses aspect-fill. So a standard 16:9 wallpaper on a 21:9 ultrawide monitor will crop the top and bottom to fill the width. That's normal, but it might not look great.

Better options

  • Use ultrawide wallpapers — look for ones tagged Ultrawide (21:9) in the Explore tab. These are made for your aspect ratio.
  • Import your own — export at your monitor's native resolution (e.g., 3440x1440) for a perfect fit.
  • Change the display mode from the menu bar: Fill Screen, Fit to Screen, and other options are available.
