LumaSpace uses too much memory

LumaSpace targets under 300 MB of RAM. If you're seeing more than that, the cache probably grew during a long session.

How to bring it down

  1. Close the main window if you're not actively browsing. Previews load wallpaper content into memory, and closing the window frees that up.
  2. Go to Settings > Cache and clear it.
  3. Go to Settings > Downloads and clear if you've got a lot of saved wallpapers piling up.
  4. Restart LumaSpace — it trims memory buffers on launch.

After these steps, usage should settle back under 300 MB.
