Start LumaSpace at login

Want your live wallpaper ready every time you start your Mac? Set LumaSpace to open automatically.

  1. Open LumaSpace.
  2. Go to the Settings tab (gear icon).
  3. Find Start at Login (or "Open at Login").
  4. Turn it on.

Now every time you restart or turn on your Mac, LumaSpace starts quietly in the background and your last wallpaper resumes automatically.

Settings with the Start on Login toggle
Flip Start on Login in Settings -> General so LumaSpace is ready at boot.

Good to know

  • When LumaSpace starts automatically, it runs in the background. You'll see the star icon in your menu bar, but the main window won't pop up.
  • LumaSpace enables this automatically the first time you apply a wallpaper, so it may already be turned on.
