Wallpaper stutters at the loop point

That little hiccup when the wallpaper loops? Usually it's because the video's first and last frames don't match smoothly.

If it's your own video

Re-export it with these settings:

  • Make sure the first and last frames match visually.
  • Use constant frame rate (not variable).
  • Encode as H.264 or H.265 in an MP4 container.

If it's a store wallpaper

Remove it and re-download — the file might be partially cached and incomplete.

General tip

Close heavy apps while wallpapers are running. Video looping needs smooth buffer refills, and a busy system can cause micro-stutters.
